CARRIE RAMBO
Carrie has been singing in the jazz style for a number of years. Her repertoire is extensive and includes the American Songbook, jazz standards, and Brazilian bossa nova and samba. Her vocal experience is diverse having sung as lead and back-up singer on the bandstand; soloist and/or ensemble singer in cabaret, choirs, cruise ships, musicals, opera, and symphony. Most notably, she has performed with the Swizzle Chicks, Grammy-nominated Michael Hoppe, the Carl Smith Band, Portland Cello Project, Oregon Symphony, and the Portland Opera Chorus. Internationally, she has sung with the house jazz quartet at the Grand Hotel in Interlaken, Switzerland and with the B.C. Charitable Foundation in Canada. Carrie holds Bachelor's degrees in music and theatre. She currently sings with Rainforest Jazz and in the jazz duo, Little Red Top, with Bill French on piano.
